The move to academia has been an interesting shift.

From one school to another, even more so.

At my previous institution, I was not allowed to touch the network.  The I.T support there was a bunch of tick-turds.  Here however, it’s apparent that I’m expected to do it.

I really don’t know which I prefer.

Especially when most people here don’t seem to know their ass from a hole in the ground.
